8月30日下午，一场以非洲青年发展为主题的分享会在丝路青年论坛秘书处国际部会议室举行。

On the afternoon of August 30th, a sharing session focused on the development of African youth  was held in the conference room of the Silk Road Youth Forum Secretariat International Department.

布基纳法索、刚果、加纳、马达加斯加、肯尼亚、南苏丹、塞拉利昂、赞比亚等国家的学生联合会主席代表汇聚一堂，共商青年在构建高水平中非命运共同体中的作为和规划。

Student Union presidents from countries such as Burkina Faso, Congo, Ghana, Madagascar, Kenya, South Sudan, Sierra Leone, and Zambia gathered to discuss the roles and plans of youth in building a high-level China-Africa community with a shared future.

The event was organized and hosted by Dahlia A. Ducreay, Director of the International Department of the Silk Road Youth Forum Secretariat, and was attended by Zhang Hongxia, Deputy Secretary-General of the Silk Road Youth Forum.

代表们表示，非洲青年是非洲的未来，更是中非合作和“全球南方”发展道路的未来。代表们在发言中提出了在参与“一带一路”建设中的思考和观点，在“一带一路”中的角色以及未来规划。大家根据各自的实际情况，围绕教育与技能发展、创业、文化交流，以及在变局和机遇中的作为进行了热烈的讨论。

The representatives emphasized that African youth are the future of Africa, and even more so, the future of China-Africa cooperation and the development path of the "Global South." In their speeches, they shared their thoughts and perspectives on participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, their roles within it, and their future plans. A lively discussion took place on topics such as education and skills development, entrepreneurship, cultural exchange, and the opportunities and challenges that arise in changing circumstances.

代表们在讨论中还对非洲学生联合会与丝路青年论坛的合作提出了建议。

The representatives also proposed suggestions for collaboration between the African Student Union and the Silk Road Youth Forum during the discussion.

参与者对即将在北京举行的中非合作论坛峰会充满期待，并进行了初步讨论。组织者表示峰会后，将根据峰会精神和成果，组织进行深入的讨论，付诸行动，在构建中非命运共同体中放飞青春梦想。

Participants expressed great anticipation for the upcoming Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit in Beijing and held preliminary discussions. The organizers stated that after the summit, they would organize in-depth discussions based on the summit's outcomes and take concrete actions to realize the dreams of youth in building a China-Africa community with a shared future.
