为贯彻落实中塞两国元首重要共识，拓展两国在基础设施建设、贸易、教育、经济、公共服务、青年交流等领域合作新空间，推动共建“一带一路”高质量发展，5月14日至5月18日，丝路青年论坛副主席兼秘书长杨东平率队赴塞拉利昂共和国。杨东平一行拜访了塞拉利昂共和国首席部长戴维·森格（Dr. David M. Sengeh）、外交与国际合作部长穆萨·卡巴（Mr. Musa Timothy Kabba）、工程与公共资产部长丹尼斯·桑迪（Dr. Denis Sandy）、青年事务部长穆罕默德·班古拉（Mr. Mohamed Bangura）、技术与高等教育副部长萨乔·阿奇兹·卡马拉（Mr. Sarjoh Aziz-Kamara）、公路管理局局长阿尔费雷德·莫莫杜（Mr. Alfred J. Momodu)、道路维护基金管理副行政长官巴希尔·希瑞弗（Mr. Bashirr Sheriff)等政府官员。

In order to implement the important consensus reached by the heads of state of China and Sierra Leone, expand new space for bilateral cooperation in infrastructure construction, trade, education, economy, public services and youth exchanges, and promote high-quality development under the Belt and Road Initiative. From May 14 to May 18, Mr. Yang Dongping, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Silk Road Youth Forum, led a team to visit the Chief Minister of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. David M. Sengeh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Musa Timothy Kabba, and Minister of Works and Public Assets, Dr. Denis Sandy Sandy, Minister of Youth Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Bangura, Deputy Minister of Technology and Higher Education, Mr. Sarjoh Aziz-Kamara, Director General of the Highway Administration, Mr. Alfred J. Momodu, Deputy Administrator of Road Maintenance Fund Management, Mr. Bashirr Sheriff, and other government officials.
