On the morning of January 23, the Silk Road International Think Tank held a New Year’s tea party at the Think Tank Conference Center. Attending the event were:

The tea party was hosted by Wang Jing, Council Member of the Silk Road Youth Forum.

丝路国际智库副理事长兼秘书长杨东平首先致辞，对2024年丝路国际智库和论坛工作做了简单回顾，同时对新一年的工作进行了阐述，他说，丝路国际智库将从深化国际合作、创新发展理念和形式、弘扬中华文化和国内外交流、服务青年的发展和成长等四个方面，实现新突破，做出新贡献。丝路国际智库立足中华大地，立足伟大新时代，面向“一带一路”，面向世界和未来，推进平台交流服务和学术研究，拓展外国青年认知中国、理解中国的深度广度；积极与世界各国青年携手，以喜闻乐见的交流形式深化认同、增进共识，为构建人类命运共同体注入澎湃的青春力量。

Yang Dongping, vice chairman and secretary-general of the Silk Road International Think Tank, delivered the opening remarks. He briefly reviewed the work of the Silk Road International Think Tank and Forum in 2024 and elaborated on the plans for the new year. He said that the Silk Road International Think Tank will achieve new breakthroughs and make new contributions in four aspects: deepening international cooperation, innovating development concepts and forms, promoting Chinese culture and domestic and international exchanges, and serving the development and growth of youth. The Silk Road International Think Tank is based in China, based on the great new era, and the “Belt and Road” Initiative, facing the world and the future. It aims to advance platform exchanges, services, and academic research, expanding the depth and breadth of international youth's understanding of and recognition of China. The think tank actively collaborates with youth from around the world, using appealing forms of communication to deepen identity and enhance consensus, thereby injecting vibrant youthful energy into the development of a community with a shared future for mankind. 

丝路国际智库秘书处的胡乔与Ms.Dahlia A. Ducreay以一首题为《感恩》的诗朗诵，充满激情地表达了对于蛇年的美好憧憬和坚定信心。

Hu Qiao and Ms. Dahlia A. Ducreay from the Silk Road International Think Tank Secretariat recited a poem entitled 《Gratitude》, passionately expressing their beautiful vision and firm confidence in the Year of the Snake.

刘晓峰副主席在讲话中回顾了在过去的一年里，以习近平同志为核心的党中央团结带领全党全国各族人民顶住压力、克服困难，沉着应变、主动作为，共建“一带一路”取得了历史性新成就。刘晓峰副主席肯定了丝路国际智库一年来取得的成绩，并提出了希望和建议，对智库秘书处和与会嘉宾致以美好的祝福。

In his speech, Vice Chairman Liu Xiaofeng reviewed the past year, in which the Party Central Committee with President Xi Jinping as the core united and led the whole Party and people of all ethnic groups in the country to withstand pressure, overcome difficulties, respond calmly and take the initiative to jointly build the "Belt and Road" and achieve historic new achievements. Vice Chairman Liu Xiaofeng praised the achievements made by the Silk Road International Think Tank in the past year. He expressed his hopes and recommendations while extending his best wishes to the think tank secretariat and the guests attending the meeting.

丝路青年使者代表万姜红在发言中畅谈了一年来参与共建“一带一路”的收获，分享了新一年的计划。

Wan Jianghong, a representative of the Silk Road Youth Envoys, talked about the gains from participating in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" over the past year and shared plans for the new year.
