On May 16, 2025, Ms. Dahlia Ducreay, Director of the International Department of the Silk Road Youth Forum, was invited to attend the celebration marking the 28th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the People's Republic of China.

巴哈马移民和国家保险部部长艾尔弗雷德·迈克尔·西尔斯(H.E. Alfred Michael Sears)、中华人民共和国外交部拉美和加勒比司司长张润、巴哈马国驻中华人民共和国大使贝瑟尔，一些国家驻华使节等应邀出席。

The event was attended by H.E. Alfred Michael Sears, Minister of Immigration and National Insurance of The Bahamas; Mr. Zhang Run, Director General of the Department of Latin America and Caribbean Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China; H.E. Paulette Bethel, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the People's Republic of China; as well as ambassadors and diplomats from various countries.

1997年5月23日，巴哈马与中华人民共和国正式建立外交关系。28年来，两国在许多个领域持续深化友好合作。

The Bahamas and the People’s Republic of China officially established diplomatic relations on May 23, 1997. Over the past 28 years, the two countries have continued to deepen their friendly cooperation in various fields.
