今年是中国同马来西亚建交50周年暨“中马友好年”。为推动落实两国领导人重要共识，夯实中马友好的青年民意基础，助力高质量共建“一带一路”行稳致远，由丝路青年论坛、中建马来西亚有限公司、马来西亚汉文化中心联合主办的“丝路青年论坛·马中合作会议”7月2日在马来西亚首都吉隆坡会展中心圆满举行，来自中马两国高等院校、青年团体、工商界等有关方面的嘉宾和中国留学生代表两百余人参加。

This year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia and the China-Malaysia Friendship Year. To promote the implementation of important agreements between the leaders of the two countries and to strengthen the youth's support for the China-Malaysia friendship, the "Silk Road Youth Forum: Malaysia-China Cooperation Conference" was successfully held on July 2 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. The event was co-hosted by the Silk Road Youth Forum, China State Construction Engineering (Malaysia), and the Malaysia Han Culture Center. More than 200 guests attended, including representatives from higher education institutions from both countries, youth groups, the business community, and Chinese international students.

马来西亚汉文化中心主席拿督吴恒灿在开幕式上致欢迎辞。他表示，丝路青年论坛第一次在吉隆坡举办，象征着马中两国在青年交流史上竖起了一座新的历史里程碑。

Datuk Ng Heng San, Chairman of the Malaysia Han Culture Center, delivered a welcome speech at the opening ceremony. He remarked that this is the first time the Silk Road Youth Forum is held in Kuala Lumpur, symbolizing a new milestone in the history of youth exchanges between Malaysia and China.

丝路青年论坛副主席兼秘书长杨东平先生在致辞中表示，近年来，中马高质量共建“一带一路”稳步推进，数字技术、绿色能源等领域合作出新出彩，人文交流日益深入，共同绘就了发展合作“工笔画”，给两国人民带来实实在在的福祉。随着互免签证政策的实行，中马两国人员往来将更加便利顺畅，文化艺术交流活动的频度、深度和广度将大幅提升，民心相通将更坚实更持久，两国人民将像亲戚一样互相理解和尊重、像朋友一样经常串门和走动。丝路青年论坛将动员组织两国更多人民特别是青年一代交往交流交融、相知相亲相伴，做传统友谊的传播者、“一带一路”的建设者，将友好的接力棒一代一代传下去，共同浇灌出更加绚烂的中马友好之花，携手为两国人民创造更加美好的未来。

Yang Dongping, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Silk Road Youth Forum, noted in his speech that in recent years, high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road initiative between China and Malaysia has progressed steadily. Collaboration in areas such as digital technology and green energy has yielded outstanding results, and cultural exchanges have deepened. This cooperation has created a detailed and intricate "fine brushwork" of development, bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries. With the implementation of the visa waiver policy, people-to-people exchanges between China and Malaysia will become more convenient, and the frequency, depth, and breadth of cultural and artistic exchange activities will significantly increase. As a result, mutual understanding and respect between the two peoples will become more solid and lasting. The Silk Road Youth Forum aims to mobilize and organize more interactions between people, especially the younger generation, from both countries, fostering traditional friendships, building the Belt and Road, and passing on the torch of friendship to future generations. This will help cultivate the flourishing friendship between China and Malaysia and jointly create a better future for the peoples of both countries.

马来西亚青年及体育部部长杨巧双在致辞中表示，青年是国家未来的主人翁，今年马来西亚青年及体育部将重点关注青年生活方式、机遇和赋权方面的发展，我们希望与各种机构合作解决青年有关问题。此次论坛邀请ESG专家围绕环境(Environmental)、社会责任(Social)、公司治理(Governance）等议题同青年交流探讨，在人工智能、商贸、人文交流等领域向青年提出建议，对于提高青年素质、培养青年人才具有重要意义。

In her address, YB Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan, Minister of Youth and Sports of Malaysia, highlighted that youth are the future leaders of the nation. This year, her ministry will focus on the development of youth lifestyles, opportunities, and empowerment. She expressed a desire to collaborate with various institutions to address youth-related issues. The forum invited ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) experts to engage with young people on these topics, providing valuable insights into fields such as artificial intelligence, business, and cultural exchange. This dialogue is crucial for enhancing youth quality and nurturing young talent.

During the forum, Jason Leong, CEO of Bettermind Sdn Bhd, delivered a lecture on "Workplace Mental Health Awareness in the Context of ESG Strategies and Sustainable Development Goals."

马来西亚驻华使馆前公使衔参赞拿督翁忠义、CREATE首席执行官黄颖欣及AI Nusantara总经理刘安琪，分别以“马来西亚绿色建筑与可持续发展”、“‘一带一路’高质量发展的成果与展望”、“中马企业如何更好地履行社会责任”、“中马青年如何更好地履行社会责任”为题，向与会青年代表及各界人士分享了独到的观点并提出建设性意见。

Former Minister Counselor of the Malaysian Embassy in China, Datuk Ong Chong Yi, CREATE CEO Wong Ying Hin, and AI Nusantara General Manager Liu Anqi presented thematic speeches. Their topics included "Green Building and Sustainable Development in Malaysia," "Achievements and Prospects of High-Quality Development of the Belt and Road," and "How China-Malaysia Enterprises Fulfill Social Responsibilities." They shared unique insights and offered constructive advice to the young representatives and attendees.

The Silk Road Youth Envoy, Wan Jianghong, the 15th-generation inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage "Jiang's Ancient Tea," shared her entrepreneurial journey and experiences in her speech titled "Green Development, Silk Road Youth in Action."
